New York City Wants to be a friendly on Electric Cars

New York - New York, including cities that have a high level of congestion. But that does not prevent New York Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg to welcome electric cars.

Bloomberg, in his speech expressed his desire to expand electric car charging infrastructure.

"(We) Make the city of New York as a leader in electric cars," he said as quoted by Bloomberg digitaltrends.com, Friday (02/15/2013).

Bloomberg wants an electric car owners can charge their cars through the streets of New York. So they can charge the battery in the middle of the parking lot.

He mentioned that the battery charging station takes just 30 minutes. So the possibility of using a rapid charging system.

He also asked the New York to provide 20 percent of the lava park equipped with battery charging. The target Bloomberg wants 10,000 electric car parking space is available in 7 years.
